A RP based on MWA I'm doing in class

BEFORE RPing, MWA means Major Writing Assignment. It's not something to make fun of the franchise or anything, but inspires me to do a roleplay of. This is about a Apocalypse. I'm writing about a Natural Disaster Apocalypse in my Developmental Writing class, and I thought about making a roleplay about it. Keep in mind that I am scared of storms, as it's one of the selection of the apocalypse I had to choose from. Anyway, here's the plot.

It was a beautiful day in Melemele Island in the Alola Region. As Sherman and Buizel are walking home together from the Hau'oli City, they are looking at the other trainers, children, and Pokemon minding their own business, spending time happily. Soon, it will all change. 

As Sherman and Buizel got home, there was a weatherman on TV saying that all severe storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanoes will activate all over the world, before Maddie, Sherman's mother, turns the TV off with the remote, saying they should get prepared. After a major trip to the Shopping District and the Pokemon Center, which there's a ton of people trying to get all the supplies like food, drinks, batteries, medicine, etc. they head home, not before they had to hid in the basement of the house. Maddie tells Sherman and Buizel to stay there, as Sherman tells his mother what about his other Pokemon and stuff. Maddie quickly run out of the basement, grabbing Sherman's Poke Balls and a few of Sherman's stuff like his stuffed animals, his notebook containing his drawings, video games, and clothes and put all of them in the bags before she ran down to the basement, giving them to Sherman before Maddie runs out as she closes the basement before she get some more for herself.

Unfortunately, it was too late, as all the severe storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanoes had been activated all over the world, tearing everything in its path. Luckily, there's no volcano in Melemele or earthquakes, but both Sherman and Buizel can hear all the booming thunder and lightning and the roars of the hurricane and tornadoes. This is the breaking point to where both Sherman and Buizel freak out, not before Sherman's Pokemon got out of their Poke Balls: Krokorok, Grovyle, Charizard, Lucario, and Hawlucha. They all try to get Sherman and Buizel to calm down, but fail, as they hear lots of booming and roaring, knowing they are in a severe storm. Sherman was very worried about his mother as he is too scared to go out. Neither his Pokemon will because of how bad the weather is. Now Sherman's Pokemon are getting scared as all the Pokemon and Sherman hug each other until it ends. This torture lasts for 3 hours.

By the time the skies clears up, Sherman and his Pokemon are safe in the basement, including the supplies that was mentioned before. Sherman and Buizel took anxiety pills before they and the Pokemon head out. When Sherman and his Pokemon got out of the basement, Melemele became a huge mess, as Sherman's house is gone. It's not just Melemele, it's all over the world, as billions perished by the Natural Disaster, both people and Pokemon. It is now a Natural Disaster Apocalypse. Sherman and his Pokemon, who are carrying the bags, are searching for Sherman's mother, Samantha, and her mother, as they are looking for any survivors.

They are worried about their loved ones and their friends, The Pokemon School, the friends they traveled with in Kalos, and for Sherman's Hawlucha, his brother who is staying at Oak's Lab. As Sherman and his Pokemon are searching for their close ones, they happen to see the first survivor, and that is . . . . .
