Episode 31: A Bubbly Reunion

Yesterday, I was depressed because of what Gurkinn said to me and Lucario a few days ago. After Professor Sycamore introduces the Summer Camp to us and let us battle anyone, I was training with my Pokemon alone, until my Lucario went haywire again with Mega Evolution. Later that night, I trained with Korrina and her Lucario and learned from her. Truth is that I’m much better now. Right now, we are eating breakfast with Team Squirtle.

Ash: I wonder what our first challenge is going to be?

Samantha: Who knows? Maybe a night at the woods, or a cooking challenge!

Ash: You know, ever since I started my journey, sometimes Pikachu and I, along with our good friends, spend the night either at the Pokemon Center, at someone’s house when he/she decide to let us sleep there, or outside. It depends on where we are. (Pikachu agrees)

Samantha: You do know a lot during your travels.

Ash: Right! And the cooking part, remember when I told you guys about Brock and Cilan?

Bonnie: Yeah, your old friends!

Clemont: You mentioned them to us on Route 5.

Calem: Do they travel with you before?

Ash: Yeah. Brock is the gym leader of Pewter City in Kanto, who is caring for his siblings while becoming a Pokemon Doctor. Cilan is a Connoisseur who is a Grass-Type Gym Leader of the Striaton Gym in Unova with his brothers, Chili and Cress, who are Fire and Water Type Gym Leaders at the same gym. They both are really good at cooking!

Bonnie: Don’t forget, Clemont is good at cooking, too!

Clemont: (Blushes) Um, yeah!

Serena: (Raises her hand) Oh yeah! I know how to make PokePuffs!

Ash: And Cilan and Brock are not the only gym leaders I traveled with. Misty traveled with me a long time ago, who is a gym leader in Cerulean City, and Clemont is right now traveling with us in this region.

Clemont: Right! I’m the gym leader in Lumiose City!

Tierno: That’s a lot of friends you have from different regions, Ash.

Ash: Yeah, meeting new friends is fun, right buddy? (Pikachu agrees)

Professor Sycamore: (On the intercom) Morning, campers. Hope you all have a nice rest. In about a half-hour, I need all of you to report to the beach to talk about your first challenge.

Ash: Awesome! First challenge in this Summer Camp! (Pikachu agrees)

Serena: Yeah, can’t wait to start.

A half-hour has passed and we all report to the beach, where Professor Sycamore and his assistants (Sophie and Cosette) are at.

Professor Sycamore: Alright, campers. The first challenge of this Summer Camp is the Fishing Competition! (The trainers cheer) For the rest of the morning, you will all have to get prepared for the challenge. After lunch, everyone will be participating. Points will be included on how well you and your team did.

Ash: Awesome! Can’t wait for fishing! (Pikachu agrees)

Serena: I remember when Rodman told us we can keep the fishing rods!

Ash: Oh yeah, when we helped him at Ambrette Aquarium!

Professor Sycamore: If you don’t have a fishing rod, that’s okay. We have plenty for you, but make sure you return it after the challenge, okay? There will be 3 judges who will be telling how well you did in the entire competition. The 1^st judge will be me, 2^nd will be Misty, from the Kanto Region! (Misty, the one who has a yellow sleeveless vest with a dark blue button, a dark blue collar, red swimsuit, yellow shorts and orange shoes, with orange hair with a side ponytail, and green eyes, walks up to Professor Sycamore)

Bonnie: (Looks at Misty) Hey, Ash? Isn’t that the girl you mentioned earlier today? (Dedenne chirps up)

Ash: Yeah! It’s been a while, right Pikachu? (Pikachu agrees)

Professor Sycamore: And last but not least who came all the way from the Alola Region, Lana! (A girl named Lana, who has blue eyes and hair, which has a yellow decoration on her hair, white sleeveless shirt with a blue short cape behind her back, blue pants with wave pattern on the bottom of her pants, that has a blue swimsuit under her clothes, blue flip flops, and a Z-Ring with a Waterium Z on her right wrist walks up to Professor Sycamore and Misty. Lana also carries an Alola Starter Pokemon named Popplio)

Ash: (Looks at Popplio) Who’s that Pokemon? (Pulls up his PokeDex)

Ash’s PokeDex: No data.

Ash: No data?

Sherman: That’s Popplio, one of the Alola Starters. (Buizel agrees)

Ash: That one is Popplio?

Samantha: Yes, didn’t you hear? (Looks at Lana) Hey, Sherman. See her? It’s been a long time since we saw her, right?

Sherman: Yeah, (Buizel agrees as he looks at Lana and Popplio as they look at Samantha and Sherman while Ash looks at both Samantha and Sherman)

Professor Sycamore: The three of us will see how you guys do. For this fishing challenge, the bigger Pokemon you catch in this competition, the higher you and your team’s chance of winning this challenge. Remember, 1^st place gets 10, 2^nd gets 7, and 3^rd gets 3. The Pokemon that you get in this competition, you cannot bring along, as most of them live in the ocean. Now lets get ready until lunch before we start! (Then all the campers are getting ready)

After the speech, we all head back to our cabins, getting prepared for the fishing competition.

Samantha: Good thing we have these babies! (Holds up her fishing rod)

Serena: (Smiles) Can’t wait to go fishing later!

Ash: You can say that again! (Hears knocking on the cabin door)

Clemont: Huh? Who could that be?

Sherman: I’ll get it. (Gets up and opens the door to see Misty)

Misty: Hi, is Ash Ketchum here with you?

Sherman: Yeah.

Ash: (Stands up and looks at Misty) Hey, Misty! It’s been a long time!

Misty: It’s been a long time, too! (Pets Pikachu on the head) Hi Pikachu! (Pikachu purrs happily)

Clemont: Wow! I can’t believe I get to see another Gym Leader from the different region!

Ash: Guys, this is Misty, an old friend of mine.

Misty: Hi, it’s nice to meet you all!

Serena: Thanks! I’m Serena!

Samantha: I’m Samantha, but you can call me Sam!

Bonnie: My name’s Bonnie, and this is Dedenne! (Dedenne introduces himself to Misty) And this is my big brother!

Clemont: I’m Clemont! It’s nice to meet you!

Sherman: Sherman. Buizel. (Buizel introduces himself)

Misty: (Pets Buizel’s chin) Aww, such cutie! Hi there! (Buizel purrs as Misty looks at Sherman) I see that you and your Buizel had spend quality time together!

Sherman: Um, thanks.

Samantha: When did you two first meet?

Ash: Well, when I started my journey with my Pikachu, we met Misty on Route 1 in Kanto when she pulled us out of the river with her fishing rod!

Misty: We met again at the Viridian City Pokemon Center before we start traveling together. We had many fun adventures, until I had to take care of the gym.

Bonnie: I know! You’re a keeper, Misty! (Kneels down to Misty) Would you please care care of my brother?

Misty: Take care of him? (Then Clemont uses his Aipom Arm to grab Bonnie before he walks out of the cabin with her)

Clemont: (Blushes embarassly) Bonnie, I told you to stop this a million times!

Bonnie: I hope you think about it, Misty! (Misty sweatdrops)

Misty: So how did you guys meet?

Ash: I first met Serena at Professor Oak’s Pokemon Summer Camp when we were young. I even helped her when she was hurt. Years later, I heard that she, Samantha, and Sherman watched my first gym battle in Kalos, though I didn’t notice before I saw them again at the Pokemon Center.

Misty: Wow. I didn’t know you and Serena met before we do. You two are really good friends, haven’t you?

Ash: Yep! We sure are!

Serena: Yeah! Sadly, I moved to the Kalos Region.

Misty: That’s sad. At least you two are together again, right?

Serena: Yeah!

Misty: What are you planning during your travels with Ash?

Serena: Me, I’m here for the Pokemon Showcase, after Sam showed me there in Lumiose City! I didn’t win, but I will next time!

Misty: That’s great!

Ash: For Clemont and Bonnie, when I entered the Kalos region with Pikachu, I was going to challenge the Lumiose Gym, but I was kicked out since I don’t have 4 gym badges. That was when I first met Clemont and Bonnie. Later, Clemont and I had our first battle together, until Team Rocket showed up.

Misty: (Annoyed) Typical.

Ash: Until Froakie saved the day. The next day, Clemont and Bonnie joined up with me, including my Froakie.

Misty: Cool! Can I see your Froakie?

Ash: Sure! Froakie, come on out! (Sends Froakie out of his Poke Ball) Froakie, this is Misty, a good friend of mine.

Misty: (Looks at Froakie) Hi there! He’s really cute!

Ash: Yeah! He’s from Professor Sycamore, as he is one of the Kalos Starters!

Misty: Ah! Is it just Froakie you have right now?

Ash: No. I have two new Pokemon you’ve never seen before! (Sends out his Hawlucha and Fletchinder) They are Hawlucha and Fletchinder! (Ash’s Hawlucha and Fletchinder greet hello to Misty)

Misty: Hi there, you two! (To Ash) Hope you take care of them, Ash. Especially Pikachu!

Ash: Will do.

Misty: (To Serena, Samantha, and Sherman) And make sure he doesn’t get you guys any trouble.

Serena: No, no. He’s just doing perfectly fine!

Samantha: Yeah. Although he can be reckless sometimes. (Misty chuckles as she remember the times that Ash becomes reckless in some of her adventures with him until a knock is heard again as Sherman opens the door and revealed Lana and Popplio)

Lana: Alola, Sherman. It’s been awhile.

Sherman: Alola. (Buizel greets Alola to Popplio)

Lana: (Looks at Samantha) Alola, Sam!

Samantha: Alola, Lana!

Then Clemont and Bonnie came back after Lana and Popplio came inside our cabin. We all sit down as my friends and I, including Misty, Lana, Ash’s Hawlucha, Froakie, Fletchinder, Pikachu, Dedenne, Buizel, and Popplio, did our introduction before we start communicating with each other.

Ash: Do you three know each other?

Samantha: Yes. Lana went to the same school we did!

Lana: I was a student of Professor Kukui’s class.

Clemont: Wow, this is like a reunion with you guys!

Bonnie: Like Ash and Misty! (Dedenne agrees)

Lana: Yeah.

Samantha: Oh yeah. (Pulls out her phone) I got a one of the photos on my phone that has a class picture. See? (Shows the group of the class picture on her phone. It has Professor Kukui, the younger Sherman, Buizel, Samantha, Lana, Popplio, and 15 other students in the picture)

Serena: Oh wow!

Clemont: So you guys are in the same class together!

Samantha: Yep! (To Lana) How you’ve been, Lana?

Lana: Really great! How about you guys?

Samantha: Really great, too! Sherman and I are traveling together. I won my first Showcase and Sherman won 3 Gym Badges.

Lana: Nice! I just became one of the Trial Captains of Akala Island after I graduated.

Samantha: Oh wow! That’s really cool!

Lana: Yeah! (Sees her Popplio and Sherman’s Buizel playing with each other) It’s been a long time since you saw your friend, right Popplio? (Popplio barked yes)

Bonnie: Popplio’s really cute, isn’t it? (Dedenne runs up to Popplio ans they and Buizel starts playing with each other)

Lana: Yeah, it sure is!

Misty: I agree! I’ve never seen this Pokemon in person before. I’m glad I got this opportunity! (Popplio barked happily at Misty as she laughs lightly)

Ash: I’ve heard from Sherman that Popplio is one of the Alola Starters.

Lana: Correct!

Serena: Wow, did you get one from the professor?

Lana: No, it was something else. Follow me outside. (The group then follow Lana and Popplio to the beach)

Clemont: Why are you taking us to the beach?

Sherman: Lana told me, Buizel, and Samantha of how she met Popplio.

Lana: Yes, this is where I first met Popplio. When I was fishing near Melemele Island, I saw 5 people who are bullying Popplio by taunting it and throwing sand at it. I will not let anyone harass or bully a Water-Type, so I took action, having my ride Pokemon, Lapras, use Ice Beam on the bullies before I rescued Popplio and took it to the Pokemon Center.

Ash: That’s almost the same story Sherman said about him and his Buizel.

Sherman: Yeah, but the difference is that Buizel was battling against Tentacruel and got poisoned during that before I took him to the Pokemon Center to heal up, while Lana saw Popplio hurt by the bullies and also took Popplio to the Pokemon Center.

Lana: Yeah. I remember a month later, I saw you have Buizel by your side.

Samantha: That was before the Dina and Terrance incident when I fist enrolled the Pokemon School. Fyi, Sherman, Buizel, Lana, and I are the best of friends during our childhood years!

Lana: Yeah, it’s been a long time! Hanging out at the beach, became a study group for exams, Sam telling me about Pokemon Showcases, and even Popplio and Buizel being playmates! (Buizel and Popplio nodded at each other has they smiled and high five on both hands)

Bonnie: I see that you guys are really close! (Dedenne agrees)

Lana: (Nods) Anyways, back to the Popplio story, after I took it to the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy told me that Popplio was abandoned by its trainer, and I felt bad. I asked Nurse Joy if I can see it, and she let me in. Popplio backed away, feeling scared. I don’t want Popplio to hate humans after the incident, so I tried to give Popplio something to eat, and it feels better. I asked Nurse Joy if I can take care of it, and she let me, so I decide to have Popplio as my partner, and we’ve been friends ever since.

Serena: Wow, great story!

Ash: Oh, I understand. I have Froakie, a Kalos Starter, who is disobedient with other trainers he is with and was brought back to Professor Sycamore. When I got to Kalos, I met Clemont and Bonnie and battled Clemont until Team Rocket interrupted our battle. Luckily, Froakie stopped Team Rocket, but was hurt badly, so Clemont, Bonnie, and I took him to Professor Sycamore’s Lab. He also came with me and Pikachu to the top of Prism Tower that night when Professor Sycamore’s Garchomp went on a rampage. The next day, Froakie decide to travel with me. (Pikachu and Froakie agree)

Lana: Wow! Who’s Team Rocket?

Ash: They’re bad guys who causes me and my friends trouble ever since I started my journey. (Pikachu agrees)

Bonnie: Not only that, they steal Pokemon!

Lana: Oh my! Steal Pokemon?! That’s not right!

Samantha: And they’re really, really annoying!

Misty: (Annoyed) You can say that again!

Lana: Anyway, it’s nice that you told me about your Froakie!

Ash: Yeah! (Froakie agrees)

Lana: (Smiles as she looks at the ocean) I think we should get ready for the competition soon.

Misty: Yeah. Good luck in the challenge you guys!

Lana: Yeah, and I hope you guys win! You guys might get a Kyogre! (Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie are shocked)

Ash: There’s a Kyogre in this area?!

Samantha: (Annoyed) Come on, Lana. You know that Kyogre lives at the Hoenn Region. There is no way Kyogre can be seen in Kalos!

Lana: (Teasingly) I’m just teasing, Sam! (Laugh and Samantha sighs annoyingly)

Bonnie: Wow, that’s too bad. I would love to see Kyogre!

Misty: Yeah, me too!

Sherman: Professor Sycamore said the bigger Pokemon we catch, the higher our chance of winning, right?

Ash: Yeah!

Clemont: (Smirks) The future is now thanks to science . . .

Samantha: No, Clemont! We are NOT going to be winning with your invention! That’s cheating!

Clemont: Don’t worry Sam, we’re not going to cheat! I’m thinking about using this invention for this competition in a non-cheating way, so without further ado, Clemontic Gear ON! (Reveals a Magikarp Invention to the group) What is the name you asked? I call it, “The Non-Cheating-Giant-Water-Type-Luring-Magikarp-Model!”

Bonnie: (Bored) Another name that is really long and boring.

Clemont: Let me explain! This device is like the devices I use when we went fishing with Rodman. But the difference is that the device lure giant Water-Type Pokemon. When a giant Pokemon gets near the device that is soon going to be in the water, it picks up the signal on this remote connecting to this device while the it vibrates! (Shows the remote to the group)

Ash: Science is so amazing!

Lana: Yeah, it sure is amazing! You know, he’s quite similar to one of the students at the Pokemon School!

Clemont: Observe! (Throws the device in the water as the group waits for 30 seconds)

Serena: Anything yet?

Clemont: Hmm . . . (He felt the vibration coming from the remote as he looks up at the beach, seeing 4 Huntail near the device) Looks like there are many Huntails!

Lana: Yeah. They are 5 feet 7 inches while it weights 59.5lbs.

Samantha: (Thinks of Huntail’s weight and height and knew that Lana was right) Yeah. You’re definitely right, Lana! It is 5 feet 7 inches and 59.5lbs.

Ash: Whoa, how did you guys know?

Samantha: Lana and I learned a lot about heights and weights of each Pokemon!

Lana: I mostly do Water-Type Pokemon.

Clemont: See? (Samantha annoyingly sigh before the Huntail uses Whirlpool on the device, trapping it as they use Bite on it, crushing and destroying the device as Clemont was in awe that his machine was destroyed)

Samantha: Guess we don’t have to worry about getting kicked out. (To Clemont, glaring) If that ever happens again, and we get caught, you’d better pray that I won’t chase after you like an angry Pyroar and . .

Clemont: (A bit intimidated) Okay! Okay! I get it! We won’t use the device! We’ll do it the old fashion way!

Samantha: (Sternly) Good!

So after we ate lunch, we report to the beach with our fishing rods. Although Bonnie didn’t participate when we went fishing with Rodman, she participates as well, using the provided fishing rod, If you are asking me that since Sam, Lana, and I are childhood friends, why didn’t I ever fished back then? Okay, let me tell you guys. I’ve never, in my life, went fishing until Ambrette Aquarium when Sam, Buizel, and I are with Ash and co. No offense but truth is that I’m not the fishing type of person. I’m just more of an artist, like in Episode 2, or a gamer, like video games. The Fun Fact is that training, drawing, and battling is not the only things I do. I mostly play video games during my spare time. What you don’t know that during a never before seen footage when we take breaks from traveling and training and stuff like that, I just play some games on my handheld system, just to kill time. (Sighs) Let’s get back to today’s topic. Well even though I’m not a fishing person, at least I can do is participate.

Professor Sycamore: I hope you guys are prepared for the challenge. Now let’s refresh your memory, shall we? Like I said earlier, the bigger Water-Type Pokemon you reeled in with your fishing rods, the higher you and your team’s chance of winning. Lana, Misty, and I will see how you guys are doing during this competition.

Ash: We’re going to catch a big one!

Tierno: Not if I catch a bigger one!

Samantha: We’ll see about that!

Professor Sycamore: Alright, let’s start fishing!

As we all head towards the beach with our fishing rods, most of us wait for quite a while to get a bite from our fishing rods.

Lana: (Walks up to Sherman with Popplio) I didn’t know you were fishing.

Sherman: Um, truth is that I want to at least participate. We went fishing with Rodman back in Ambrette Aquarium, right?

Lana: Well, since this is my first time seeing you fish in person, good luck! I’ll check up on you and your team and see how you guys are doing later. (Leaves to check on the other team with Popplio)

Serena: (Feels the fishing rod pulling) Hey, I got a bite!

Clemont: Great, reel it in! (Serena reels the fishing rod and pulls out a Staryu)

Ash: Oh cool! That’s a Staryu!

Serena: Wow!

Shauna: (Carrying a Tentacool) Awesome catch, Serena!

Serena: Thanks! Did you catch . . .

Shauna: A Tentacool? Of course!

Samantha: I’d say if I can observe their height and weight, Staryu is 2 feet 7 inches and 76.1 lbs while Tentacool is 2 feet 11 inches and 100.3 lbs.

Shauna: I guess I got the bigger Pokemon.

Serena: Oh well. That was a great catch, Shauna!

Shauna: Thanks, you too! (To Samantha) How do you know all that, Samantha?

Samantha: A good friend of mine and I learned the height and how much it weights of each Water-Type Pokemon.

Serena: She’s talking about Lana, one of the judges.

Shauna: That’s cool! How long have you guys been friends?

Samantha: Since I joined Pokemon School in Alola!

Shauna: Really? That’s great! (Then Clemont revealed that he caught a Corphish, only for it to clamp his butt before Clemont flails as he run past the girls while Corphish held on to him)

Bonnie: Hold still, Clemont!

Ash: We’ll help you! (He and Bonnie grab Corphish’s pinchers and have it release Clemont before they let go if it until it ran to the ocean)

Clemont: Ah! Thanks guys! It really hurts!

Bonnie: Try not to get caught from behind. (Dedenne agrees)

Clemont: (Sighs) Yeah, I’ll remember that. (Then Buizel gets the chills up his spine when he heard Shauna got a Tentacool a while ago)

Sherman: Um, Buizel. Are you alright? (Buizel shook the thought of Tentacool out of his mind) You really don’t want to go near Tentcruel or its evolved form after what happened 8 years ago. (Buizel nodded yes as Sherman continues to fish while he remembers when he saved Buizel that time)

(Later)

Ash: (Feels the pull from the fishing rod) Hey! I got a bite!

Tierno: Oh yeah, me too!

Calem: So do I! (Then he, Tierno, and Ash reeled out a Remoraid, Magikarp, and Alomomola, respectively)

Ash: Cool! I got an Alomomola! (Pikachu cheers)

Calem: I got a Remoraid!

Tierno: And I got myself a Magikarp!

Misty: (Walks up to Ash) How are you guys doing so far?

Ash: Really great! Serena got a Staryu and Clemont got a Corphish, but Corphish ran away.

Misty: Aww, that’s too bad.

Ash: Despite that, he’s still continuing fishing!

Misty: Yeah. I see you got a Alomomola!

Ash: Sure did! (Pikachu agrees as Ash show Misty Alomomola)

Calem: Don’t forget we caught those Pokemon.

Misty: I know about that. That’s really good catching, guys!

Tierno: Thanks! (Then Misty leaves to check on the other teams as Samantha walks up to Ash, Tierno, and Calem)

Serena: Awesome! You caught some Pokemon!

Ash: Yeah!

Samantha: (Fishing) Their heights and weights of the Pokemon you three caught is that Alomomola is 3 feet 11 inches and 69.7 lbs, Magikarp is 2 feet 11 inches and 22 lbs, and Remoraid is 2 feet and 26.5 lbs.

Ash: Great! Looks like I caught a big one!

Samantha: Hold on. Bonnie, Sherman, Trevor, and I hadn’t got a bite yet. If my calculation in my brain is correct, Staryu’s weight and height plus Alomomola’s equal 6 feet 6 inches and 145.8 lbs.

Ash: But you didn’t count Clemont’s catch.

Samantha: Well, technically Corphish ran off, so it doesn’t count. But for Team Squirtle’s caught Pokemon’s height and weight of Tentacool’s plus Magikarp’s plus Remoraid’s equals 7 feet 10 inches and 148.8 lbs. Meaning we’re 1 foot 4 inches and 3 lbs away from Team Squirtle. (Tierno, Calem, and Ash were in awe of Samantha thinking of the math problems involving caught Pokemon by them in this competition)

Ash: Wow! You’re really smart, Sam! (Pikachu agrees)

Samantha: Yep! The Fun Fact for me is that I’m one of the honors students at the Pokemon School!

Ash: Really?

Lana: (Walks up to Ash) She’s right! She’s one of the honors students at the Pokemon School before we graduated together along with Sherman! (Popplio agrees)

Ash: That’s great! (Pikachu agrees)

Samantha: Yeah! I can think math really easily and know what height and weight of a Pokemon depends on what it is. (Feels the bite from the fishing rod) Oh, I got a bite! (Reels the fishing rod out, revealing to have caught a Luvdisc)

Ash: Awesome! You caught a Luvdisc!

Lana: Which is 2 feet and 19.2 lb.

Samantha: Correct. But still, we surpass Team Squirtle!

Calem: Not yet! We still have to wait for Trevor’s first!

Samantha: Well, we’re still waiting on Sherman and Bonnie. (Then she sees Sherman and Trevor getting the bite from the fishing rod as they struggle the reel it in while Buizel helps Sherman)

Serena: Whoa! Do you think they caught a big one?

Clemont: I pretty much think so!

Ash: Let’s go help them!

Serena/Clemont/Bonnie/Samantha/Tierno/Shauna/Calem/ Lana: Right! (Then the team and Lana help Sherman and Trevor pull the fishing rod out)

Tierno: Looks like you caught a pretty big one, Trevs!

Trevor: Yeah, I know!

Sherman: Thanks for helping me guys.

Serena: Anytime!

Ash: Sure!

Clemont: No problem!

Bonnie: We’re always here to help! (Then Sherman and Trevor reeled their fishing rod out (Thanks to their teammates and Lana helping them) as they fell backwards, landing on their bottoms and they saw the caught Pokemon revealed to be a Milotic on Sherman’s fishing rod and Wailord on Trevor’s fishing rod)

Serena: (Amazed) What are they?!

Ash: That’s a Milotic and a Wailord!

Clemont: Incredible!

Shauna: Amazing!

Trevor: I’ve caught the biggest one!

Lana: (To Sherman and Trevor) Wow! You two have caught two of the biggest Water-Type Pokemon in this competition!

Misty: (Runs up to the scene) Yeah! That was an amazing catch!

Samantha: Now we have to see how . . .

Sherman: Sam, we can’t spoil it right now. We’ll just wait until Professor Sycamore gets the results of all the teams. (Buizel agrees)

Misty: Oh yeah. The Professor’s got everyone’s scores, (To Sherman and Trevor) Including both of your catch!

Ash: You mean it?

Misty: Yeah! The Fishing Competition is almost over!

Then after we’re done with the fishing competition, we report to the front of the Summer Camp as we see Professor Sycamore, Sophie, Cosette, Lana, Popplio, and Misty looking at all the teams.

Professor Sycamore: Alright, campers. I’ve got the results. Whoever catches the biggest Water-Type Pokemon get points. 3^rd Place goes to Team Chikorita!

Team Chikorita: Alright!

Lana: One of you pulled out an Octillery! That was great!

Misty: You guys did a good job!

Professor Sycamore: That was marvelous! You guys earned 3 Points. Now it’s down to Team Froakie and Team Squirtle. One of their teammates caught a really, really big Pokemon, and I was amazed by not only surpass through the competition, but with your teamwork. The winner of the fishing competition is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Team Squirtle!

Shauna/Tierno/Trevor/Calem: Alright

Tierno: Great job, Trevs!

Calem: You were amazing!

Shauna: Yeah!

Trevor: Thank you guys!

Sherman: (Sighs) Looks like we’re second.

Clemont: (Puts his hand on Sherman’s shoulder) Don’t worry. We’ll win next time!

Ash: By the way, you did great! (Pikachu agrees)

Sherman: You mean it?

Serena: Of course! We did awesome there!

Bonnie: You even caught a really cute Pokemon! (Dedenne agrees)

Samantha: Yeah. It’s one of the beautiful Pokemon from the PokeDex. Check it out! (Pulls out her PokeDex)

Samantha’s PokeDex: Milotic, the Tender Pokemon. Milotic is said to be the most beautiful of all the Pokémon. It has the power to becalm such emotions as anger and hostility to quell bitter feuding.

Sherman: Um, by the way, Sam. How come you’re adding up all of our Pokemon’s height and weight we caught today?

Samantha: Well, if you add them all up . .

Sherman: Even though all of it’s add up, we won’t surpass Team Squirtle, but it did lead us to 2^nd.

Samantha: (Thinks over) You’re right! Whether or not I use the math problems today, we do come 2^nd.

Ash: Like Clemont said, there is next time!

Samantha: Yeah!

Professor Sycamore: Team Froakie, you guys earned 7 points for getting a Milotic in this competition. Team Squirtle earn 10 points for catching a Wailord, one of the biggest Pokemon ever! The rest of you did truly amazing,. Well done, all of you!

After the ceremony thing, we spend some time at the beach, relaxing and everything around sunset.

Ash: W sure have fun, right Pikachu? (Pikachu nodded yes)

Serena: It’s amazing you caught a Milotic, Sherman!

Sherman: Yeah. (Buizel hops onto Sherman’s lap, looking at him while wagging his tail) Guess you’re proud of me too, right? (Buizel nodded yes)

Ash: See? Buizel thinks you did great!

Samantha: I’m sure you’ll do great in the future!

Sherman: Thanks guys. Really appreciate it.

Lana: (Comes near Ash and co. with Misty and Popplio) Hi there.

Bonnie: Hi, Lana! Hi, Misty!

Misty: What are you guys doing?

Clemont: We’re relaxing at the beach.

Lana: I see. I enjoy spending time here at the beach, including the ocean. That’s where I like to fish.

Bonnie: That’s cool! (Dedenne agrees)

Lana: Fishing is one of my favorite things to do.

Ash: That’s awesome!

Lana: If you don’t mind, Ash and Sherman. Why don’t we have a Multi Battle!

Misty: Yeah, that’s a great idea! I’m thinking about battling you guys as well.

Ash: Yeah! It’s been a long time since we last battled! (To Sherman) What do you say, Sherman. Are you ready?

Sherman: Sure.

(Later, Ash and Sherman are ready one one side while Lana and Misty are ready on the other side)

Clemont: Alright, this will be a Multi Battle of Lana and Misty vs. Ash and Sherman. They all will use only one Pokemon, and the battle will be over when 2 Pokemon on one side are unable to continue. Please send out your Pokemon!

Lana: Popplio, let’s go! (Popplio runs up to the battle with a serious glare)

Misty: Okay, Misty calls Gyarados! (Throws a Poke Ball and opens up to reveal a Gyarados)

Ash: A Gyarados and a Popplio! I know! Froakie, I choose you! (Sends Froakie out of his Poke Ball)

Samantha: Um, wouldn’t Ash use his Pikachu since Water-Type Pokemon like Gyarados and Popplio are weak against Electric Types?

Bonnie: Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing too.

Ash: Hey Sherman. (Sherman looks at Ash) Why don’t you let your Buizel battle! (Pikachu agrees as Sherman looks at Buizel with a battling spirit)

Sherman: Well I was going to use Treecko, but since you’re interested, that’s fine Buizel. (Buizel runs up to the battle, looking at Froakie as they nods at each other and glare at Gyarados and Popplio, even though Popplio and Buizel are close friends like Sherman, Samantha, and Lana. They would love to see strong they are, including Gyarados and Froakie)

Serena: I think we should bring out our Water-Type Pokemon.

Samantha: But we’re not battling, Serena.

Serena: I know, but we can learn from their battle and inspire us to make our next performance with it.

Samantha: Come to a think of it, you’re right! We can learn from them and make our original idea for it! (Sends out her Mudkip while Serena sends out Squirtle) Now Mudkip. Pay attention to the battle, okay? (Mudkip gives a salute)

Serena: Squirtle, you too! (Squirtle nodded yes at she and Squirtle watch the battle with their trainers)

Clemont: Battle begin!

Ash: Let’s start this off! Froakie, use Water Pulse! (Froakie summons Water Pulse as he aims it at Gyarados)

Sherman: Buizel, Aqua Jet! (Buizel surrounds himself in water as he charges towards Popplio)

Lana: Popplio, use Aqua Jet too! (Popplio surrounds itself in water as it charges at Buizel, colliding the Aqua Jets at the same power)

Misty: Gyarados, use Protect! (Gyarados summons a barrier as Water Pulse collide it, having Gyarados not taking any hit)

Ash: I hope you’re ready for our next move! Use Cut! (Froakie summons a white needle and uses it like a sword as he runs up to Gyarados)

Misty: Gyarados, use Hyper Beam! (Gyarados shoots out Hyper Beam at Froakie)

Ash: Froakie, use Double Team! (Froakie gets rid of the white needle and summons several clones of himself as Hyper Beam destroys all the clones of Froakie, then the real Froakie leans back to avoid Hyper Beam, like he did at the Cyllage Gym)\

Lana: Popplio, use Bubblebeam! (Popplio shoots out Bubble Beam at Buizel)

Sherman: Buizel, use Dig! (Buizel jumps up to avoid Bubble Beam as he position himself like a drill and drills into the ground)

Lana: Keep an eye out, Popplio! (Popplio keeps a close eye out on when and where Buizel will pop out)

Sherman: Buizel, Aqua Jet! (Buizel pops out of the ground using Aqua Jet, hitting Popplio and sending it to the ground)

Lana: Are you okay, Popplio? (Popplio nodded yes as it got up)

Ash: (To Sherman and Buizel) Wow! Great job, you guys! (Pikachu and Froakie agree)

Lana: Alright, are you ready, Popplio! (Popplio barked yes as they cross their arms together, preparing their Z-Move)

Sherman: Get ready! It’s massive! (Ash looks at Lana with a serious face)

Lana: You guys are about to witness a Water-Type Z-Move! Now I, Lana, the Water-Type Trial Captain will show you guys both the bond between me and Popplio and our Z-Move! (Starts synchronizing with Popplio as they move wave their hands like water from the left to the right, with a complete halt before Popplio surrounds itself with Z-Power)

Serena: This is big!

Bonnie: And really intense! (Dedenne agrees)

Samantha: Yeah. You guys might want to take cover. (Samantha, Serena, Bonnie, Squirtle, and Mudkip took cover as they continue witnessing the battle)

Lana: Hydro Vortex! (Popplio unleashes Hydro Vortex as it summons a giant load of water, sucking Froakie and Buizel into it, trapping them in water)

Ash: Froakie!

Sherman: Buizel! (Then Popplio summons a giant whirlpool while inside the water. Both Buizel and Froakie were swallowed into the whirlpool, spinning and trapping them until the water evaporates completely, sending Froakie and Buizel to the ground, injured)

Ash: Are you okay, Froakie? (Froakie says yes as he struggles to get up)

Sherman: Buizel? (Buizel nodded yes at his trainer as he got up, despite the damage he took from Hydro Vortex)

Misty: That’s really impressive, Lana!

Lana: Thanks!

Ash: Hey, is that . .

Sherman: Yes. It’s a Z-Move.

Ash: Oh, wow! That’s awesome! (Pikachu agrees) I remember what Sam told us the other day!

Lana: I see that both Buizel and Froakie are still standing! Even though I can’t use the Z-Move anymore in this battle, we’ll beat you with our next move! Bubble Beam!

Misty: Gyarados, Hydro Pump! (Popplio and Gyarados shoot their moves at Froakie and Buizel)

Ash/Sherman: Dodge it! (Buizel and Froakie dodges Hydro Pump and Bubble Beam)

Ash: Froakie, Double Team! (Froakie creates clones of himself again)

Misty: Guess I’ll do the same thing last time! Hyper Beam! (Gyarados shoots out Hyper Beam at Froakie and his clones)

Ash: Dodge them! (Froakie and his clones move out of the way to avoid Hyper Beam) Now run up to Gyarados! Use Cut! (Froakie and his clones summon white needles and run straight towards Gyarados, as it takes damage from several Cuts)

Lana: Popplio, Bubble Beam! (Popplio shoots Bubble Beam at Buizel)

Sherman: Buizel, Ice Beam! (Buizel shoots Ice Beam at Bubble Beam, popping all the bubbles) Use Aqua Jet! (Buizel surrounds himself in water as he charges towards Popplio at full speed, hitting Popplio) Finish it with Ice Beam! (Buizel shoots Ice Beam one more time at Popplio, hitting it and then Popplio was soon defeated as Gyarados took many cuts from Froakie and his clones before it is finally defeated)

Clemont: Gyarados and Popplio are unable to continue, the winners are Buizel and Froakie!

Ash: Alright! We did it! (Pikachu cheers) Froakie, you were awesome! (Froakie thanks Ash)

Sherman: Thank you, Buizel. (Buizel jumps up on Sherman, hugging him as Sherman hugs back)

Serena: They did it! (Squirtle agrees)

Bonnie: That was great! (Dedenne agrees)

Samantha: The Bubble Beam being hit by Ice Beam! That was incredible!!

Serena: Oh yeah! That too! All 4 of them and their Pokemon are great! (Inside voice) Oh Ash! You were truly great!

Misty: Are you alright, Gyarados? (Gyarados roared yes) You did great! Take a nice rest. (Sends Gyarados back into its Poke Ball)

Lana: You okay, Popplio? (Popplio got up and nodded yes before Lana picks Popplio up and walks up to Ash and Sherman with Misty) You guys did excellent! (Popplio agrees as it told Buizel good game)

Misty: Yeah. Congratulations, Ash and Sherman!

Ash: Thanks! You both did great! (Pikachu agrees)

Lana: Thanks!

Bonnie: Lana, can I ask you a question?

Lana: Sure, what is it?

Bonnie: Where did you get that thing from? (Points to a Z-Ring on Lana’s right wrist)

Lana: Oh! That’s a Z-Ring! It can hold any Z-Crystals!

Serena: That’s so cool!

Lana: I even got it from one of the Kahunas!

Misty: That’s great!

Ash: So that’s what the Z-Move came from?

Lana: Yes. By the way, if you guys ever come by to Brooklet Hill on Akala Island of the Alola Region and beat my trial, I’ll give you a Waterium Z!

Ash: Great! One day, we’ll all come there and beat your trial! Right?

Sherman: Um, yeah. (Buizel agrees)

Lana: I’ll be waiting for you guys! I have to get going. I need to catch my flight back to the Alola Region. Popplio, it’s time to say goodbye! (Popplio jumps out of Lana’s grip and hugs Buizel goodbye, as Buizel tells Popplio goodbye)

Misty: Well, I have to get going too. I have Gym Leader responsibilities to take care of!

Ash: Yeah. If you see Brock, tell him I said hi! And tell your sisters the same thing too! (Pikachu chirps up)

Misty: Will do! It was nice seeing you again, Ash! Hope you win the Kalos League! And Serena, good luck at the Pokemon Showcase!

Serena: Thanks! Good luck to you too!

Lana: I hope you guys take care of yourselves! (To Sherman and Samantha) I’m glad we got to see you two again! (Popplio agrees)

Samantha: Yeah. Same to you!

Sherman: If you see Professor Kukui, tell him we said hi. (Buizel chirps up)

Lana: I will! Sam, good luck at the Pokemon Showcase! And Sherman, good luck at the Kalos League!

Samantha: Thanks! Oh yeah! Why don’t we take a selfie with all of us!

Ash: Yeah! (Bonnie laughs in excitement)

Lana: Alright! (Then Ash and co. get ready for a selfie as Samantha took the picture of the group, including Lana and Misty) That was a great photo!

Samantha: Thanks!

Misty: Well, we better get going!

Lana: Bye! (Popplio waves goodbye)

Ash: Bye Lana! Bye Misty!

Bonnie: Bye, guys!

Serena: Take care of yourselves!

Clemont: I hope we’ll meet again!

Misty: I hope so too! (Then when it was just Misty, Lana, and Popplio, they start heading to Lumiose City to catch their flight. As they do, they start communicated to each other)

Lana: I didn’t know you had sisters, Misty!

Misty: Well, thing is that I have 3 sisters.

Lana: Oh cool! I have 2. I’m the oldest sister.

Misty: Awesome!

Lana: What about you?

Misty: Me, I’m the youngest! (Lana smiles) What does your sisters do?

Lana: Well, they’re very excited when they see a Pokemon. And also, they’re twins.

Misty: Cool! My sisters are called the Sensational Sisters! Most of the times, they don’t obey the rules of being a Gym Leader, and I’m the only one who took full responsibilities of being one!

Lana: Well, they’re your sisters, right?

Misty: Yeah! They’re part of my family and I love them!

Lana: Yeah, that includes me and my sisters!

Misty: Maybe you should come by the Cerulean City Gym! It’s great in there!

Lana: Yeah, and you should come by the Alola Region! It is amazing!

Misty: Will do! (Lana and Misty smiles at each other)

Later, after dinner, we decide to stay up for an hour before we go to bed. As for me, I just walk to the beach and look at the stars with my Pokemon while I’m drawing.

Sherman: Yeah. I have to say it was a good day. Meeting Lana and got 2^nd. I’m pretty sure we’ll win next time. (Buizel, Treecko, Lucario, Charmander, Sandile, and Sherman’s Hawlucha agree as Buizel hugs Sherman before Sherman pets Buizel’s head) One day, we’ll all win the Kalos League and get to the Pokemon League Hall of Fame together Right now, only 5 more badges to go. (Continues drawing as Buizel and the Pokemon relax. The drawing reveals Ash and co. with their Pokemon in the drawing)
