Episode 44: Christmas in Coumarine City Part 1

After a week on Route 12, well two weeks if you count Professor Sycamore's Pokemon Summer Camp, we have finally made it to Coumarine City, home of Ash’s and my future 4^th Gym Badge.

Bonnie: We finally made it! (Dedenne agrees)

Lara: Wow! So this is the Coumarine City! (Looks at the ocean as she sees another part of the city pass through the ocean)

Samantha: Sure does! It's so gorgeous! (Takes a picture of the ocean with her phone)

Clemont: With its mild climate, Coumarine City is famous for its resort spot!

Ash: I can’t wait to get my 4^th Gym Badge! (Pikachu agrees as he is on Ash’s shoulder)

Serena: And our 2^nd Pokemon Showcase!

Samantha: Man, it’s been a long time since Cyllage City!

Serena: Yeah! This time, I won’t lose!

Sherman: Hang on. We have to heal up our Pokemon and get prepared first before we head to the gym. (Buizel agrees)

Ash: Right! So let’s head to the Pokemon Center! (Ash and co. head off as they see a lot of Grass Type Pokemon)

Serena: Check out a lot of Grass Type Pokemon!

Clemont: What do you expect? Coumarine City is famous for Grass Types.

Bonnie: (Sees a variety of Grass Type Pokemon) There’s a Vileplume, a Roserade, and a Lilligant! (Sees a girl with a Bellossom) Wow! She’s a keeper! (Runs up to her as she kneels down) Will you please take care of my brother?

Clemont: No way, Bonnie. I told you to stop this a million times! (Then Chespin pops out of his Poke Ball, pulling out a flower in front of Bellossom, to which Bellossom declines before Chespin feels heartbroken as Clemont returns Chespin back into his Poke Ball and picks Bonnie up with his Aipom Arm as he walks away)

Bonnie: I hope you think about it! (Ash and co. leave with Clemont and Bonnie as the girl and her Bellossom were in loss for words. A minute later, Lara sees an ice cream shop)

Lara: Hey, Ash. Do you think we can get some ice cream?

Bonnie: Oh yeah! I was thinking on getting one too!

Ash: Sure thing, guys! (Then everyone ordered ice cream as Sherman gets chocolate ice cream, Bonnie gets the Vanillite Vanilla Special and everyone else get vanilla ice cream. Later, everyone are eating ice cream, as Ash and Pikachu are sharing their ice cream together, as well as Sherman and Buizel with Sherman’s chocolate ice cream, as well as Bonnie and Dedenne with their ice cream)

Bonnie: Wow, this ice cream’s really delicious! (Dedenne agrees)

Serena: They sure do make the best ice cream!

Samantha: Don’t forget we ate one at the Baa de Mer Ranch.

Serena: Yeah, I remembered that.

Samantha: Oh yeah. Since we’re heading to the Pokemon Center, we should have Nurse Joy examine your paw, Lara.

Sherman: Yeah. It’s been like 4 days since you wore it. I’m sure your paw is getting better.

Lara: Well, in all honesty, even though I walked off the pain for a few days, I’ll let Nurse Joy examine my paw.

Ash: That’s the spirit! (Pikachu agrees as Ash see people starting to decorate Christmas lights all over the buildings)

Clemont: What are they doing?

Samantha: They’re putting up the lights, genius. (Then an elderly man riding a Gogoat are strolling on the street, minding his own business as Clemont spots him)

Clemont: Wait a minute, isn’t that Ramos?

Ash: Ramos? (Clemont finishes his ice cream as he runs up to Ramos and his Gogoat)

Clemont: Ramos! It’s so good to see you again!

Ramos: Ah, Clemont. Good to see you. What brings you here?

Clemont: You see, I’m traveling with my friends over there. (Points to his friends)

Ramos: You sure have a nice little whippersnapper friends you got, Clemont.

Clemont: Oh, shucks! (Then Clemont, Ramos, and Gogoat walk up to the group)

Sherman: So, you two met because Ramos is a Gym Leader too?

Clemont: Correct. Ramos is the Coumarine City Gym Leader!

Ramos: That’s right! I’m the Coumarine City Gym Leader!

Ash: Awesome! Do you think I (Sherman hits Ash in the stomach with his elbow) Uh, I mean, Sherman and I can have our gym battle after we heal up our Pokemon?

Ramos: Hmm, not today, whippersnapper. We’re getting ready for Christmas.

Samantha: Um, if we were to be in Snowbelle City, I’d let it slide, but here?

Ramos: Yes. Everyone can celebrate anywhere. Snow or no snow. There is a legend in Coumarine City that someone has stolen a Vanillite.

Samantha: (Annoyed) Seriously?

Clemont: It’s true, Sam. Some poachers kidnapped Vanillite and took it away from its home, the Frost Cavern, before heading to their hideout in this city. They plan on selling it for money.

Ramos: Right. Two of Vanillite’s friends, Vanillish and Vanilluxe, track down Vanillie, until they reached here, before they hear Vanillie screaming for help. That’s when they get furious that they use Blizzard to create a snowstorm in this city.

Serena: You’re kidding?!

Lara: Oh my! That’s awful.

Ramos: I soon spot those troublemakers as they ran off with Vanillite, so I chase after them with my Gogoat. I managed to save Vanillite from them. I even have to use my Jumpluff to use Sunny Day before I round up all my Sunflora to use Solarbeam until the snow is gone.

Clemont: Then Ramos and Gogoat were declared as heroes as the poachers were arrested. Then, Vanillite and its friends thank Ramos before heading home to Frost Cavern.

Ash: That’s an awesome story! (Pikachu agrees)

Samantha: I’d had to admit, it’s something I can look up too!

Bonnie: You know, I think it might be where the ice cream man decide to make this Vanillite Vanilla Special after what you did!

Ramos: That’s correct!

Lara: (Looks at Gogoat before looking at Ash) Hey, Ash. Is Gogoat the evolved form of Skiddo?

Ash: I don’t know. Let me check. (Pulls up his PokeDex)

Ash’s PokeDex: Gogoat, the Mount Pokémon and the evolved form of Skiddo. Gogoat is able to sense its Trainer's feelings by detecting small changes in the grip on its horns. This allows both Trainer and Pokémon to move together as one..

Ramos: Gogoat and I have a lot of bond together, as well as all my other Grass-Types, especially the ones from the ranch, located at the middle of the city.

Ash: Cool! I met Alexa back on Harvest Island when my Unova friends and I are heading back to Kanto by cruise. She even has a Gogoat as well. (Pikachu agrees)

Ramos: I’ve heard of her. She's Viola’s sister. Tell me, what are your names?

Ash: I’m Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. And this is my partner, Pikachu! (Pikachu greets hello)

Sherman: Sherman. Buizel. (Buizel greets hello)

Ramos: I look forward to our Gym Battle tomorrow. If you want to take a shortcut, why not take a monorail!

Lara: Monorail?

Samantha: It's a railroad in which the track consists of a single rail, typically elevated, with the trains suspended from it or balancing on it.

Ramos: That’s correct. That will take you guys to the Pokemon Center faster since it’s on the other side. You guys can see my ranch from the monorail. Well, we should get going. See you guys tomorrow at the gym and Merry Christmas. (Heads off with Gogoat)

Clemont: Merry Christmas to you too, Ramos.

After we finish our ice cream, we all head to the monorail, as we see Ramos’ Ranch from the monorail.

Serena: Wow! It looks gorgeous!

Samantha: Yeah! Looks amazing!

Lara: I’m starting to love Coumarine City!

Bonnie: Me too! There’s a lot of Grass Type Pokemon!

Clemont: I’m glad you guys love it here!

Ash: We sure do, Clemont! (Pikachu agrees)

Lara: You know. I wish we can go into Ramos’ Ranch and see a lot of Grass Type Pokemon!

Clemont: No, Lara. That is off limits. No one should invade someone’s property, especially the property of a Gym Leader.

Lara: But we can still see them from the monorail.

Clemont: I know, but do not go into that fence right there. (Points to the fence to where Ramos’ Ranch is)

Lara: Okay.

After we got off the monorail, we head to the Pokemon Center to heal up our Pokemon and have Nurse Joy look at Lara.

Ash: Hey, Nurse Joy. Can you heal up our Pokemon, and Lara too?

Nurse Joy: Absolutely! Wigglytuff! (Wigglytuff enters with a stretcher before Pikachu, Buizel, Lara, and Dedenne got on the stretcher as Ash and co. give their Pokemon to Nurse Joy until she and Wigglytuff go the another room with all the Pokemon and Lara)

Ash: (Sits on the couch) You know. Maybe we should spend time here this Christmas!

Serena: Yeah! Not just for the Pokemon, but for all of us as well!

Samantha: Well, of course, Serena. Pokemon give stuff to other Pokemon, Humans give stuff to other humans, Humans give stuff to Pokemon, and vice versa.

Sherman: And what about our families? (Everyone look down before Sherman sighs) Sorry I brought it up.

Serena: It’s fine.

Ash: I haven’t spend much time with my mother for Christmas since 10 years old.

Clemont: And this would be our first time not spending with Dad this Christmas.

Bonnie: I know, and it’s sad.

Serena: Me too.

Samantha: Same here.

Ash: And that goes for Lara as well, without her family.

Bonnie: At least we have each other.

Serena: You’re right, Bonnie. We’ve been traveling together for weeks now. Guess this will be our first Christmas together.

Ash: I hear you, Serena. We should call our families since Christmas is all about spending time with family and having a great year.

Clemont: You’re right.

Ash: And I’ll call my mom first after our Pokemon’s checkup. (Samantha nods in agreement)

After we wait for 10 minutes, Nurse Joy comes back with all of our Pokemon, including Pikachu, Buizel, Dedenne, and Lara.

Nurse Joy: Here you all go. Your Pokemon are now fully healed! (Ash and co. got their Poke Balls back as Pikachu, Buizel, and Dedenne walk back to Ash, Sherman, and Bonnie, respectively)

Ash: How are you feeling, Lara?

Lara: I’m still doing fine.

Nurse Joy: Although I need to inject some pain killing machine into her paw.

Lara: WHAT?!

Ash: Lara, it’s okay. It’s gonna hurt for a little bit, then after that, you wouldn’t feel it anymore.

Nurse Joy: He’s right. Ash, would you lend a hand for me?

Ash: Yeah. (Ash holds Lara down as Nurse Joy gets out a needle before injecting it into Lara’s left front paw)

Lara: It hurts, Ash.

Ash: It’s okay, Lara. It will be over before you know it. (Nurse Joy is done with the injection)

Nurse Joy: There you go. You are one brave, uh, Pokemon?

Lara: Well, technically, I’m not a Pokemon., but thanks anyway.

Nurse Joy: Anytime! Make sure you leave that cast on for a few days, understand?

Lara: Yes, Nurse Joy. (Nurse Joy leaves)

Ash: Now we can call our parents. (Then Ash and co. walk up to the videophone as Ash goes first, calling Delia, Ash’s mother. Seconds later, Delia picks up as she is at Prof. Oak’s Lab) Hey there, mom!

Delia: Hi, honey. Merry Christmas! How are you doing?

Ash: So far, really great, mom! Oh, ever since we last talked to each other, this is Lara. Lara, this is my mother, Delia Ketchum.

Lara: Hi, Ash’s mom!

Delia: Hi, Lara! I hope you take good care of her, Ash, as well as your friends. Speaking of that, how are you guys doing?

Samantha: We’re all doing really great, Mrs. Ketchum.

Serena: He even helps us, like always!

Delia: That’s good to hear. Hey, Ash. I’m very sorry to say this, but we wouldn't make it to Kalos during Christmas. There’s a blizzard warning issued in Pallet Town, and unfortunately, all the flights are canceled.

Ash: I’m sorry to hear that.

Prof. Oak: (Goes up to Delia) But we did get you something! And your friends as well!

Delia: Where are you at right now?

Ash: We’re at Coumarine City in the Kalos Region.

Delia: Okay. We’ll deliver your friends’ gifts, including yours, and it should come tomorrow. (Looks at Lara) I’m sorry we didn’t get a gift for you, Lara. I didn’t know you’re with them until now.

Lara: It’s okay, Mrs. Ketchum. But thanks, anyway.

Ash: How are my Pokemon?

Prof. Oak: They’re all doing really good! And you just call at a right time. They are all in my Lab, playing together. (Looks at Ash’s old Pokemon) Hey, guys! Ash is on the videophone! (Then Ash’s old Pokemon appear, though not many of them could fit, but the only Ash’s old Pokemon Ash and co. see in the screen are Bulbasaur, Bayleef, Buizel, Oshawott, Charizard, Muk, Totodile, Sceptile, Infernape, Gible, Snivy, Pignite, and Krookodile, as Ash and co. can hear the rest from off-screen)

Bonnie: Wow! Are they all your Pokemon?

Ash: Of course! They are all my Pokemon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova!

Clemont: Fascinating!

Lara: You sure have a lot of Pokemon! Why not have them all come here!

Serena: You mean transfer them to here?

Lara: What’s that?

Ash: Whenever I wanted to ask Prof. Oak for one of my old Pokemon, he put one of my Pokemon inside his/her Poke Ball and it transfer here. But since I have a lot and Pallet Town is in a blizzard, there’s no can do.

Lara: Why not?

Ash:You see, Lara. Every trainer are allowed to carry up to 6 Pokemon. If you catch another Pokemon while you have 6, that Pokemon will automatically teleport to the Professor.

Prof. Oak: Correct. I even took care of Ash’s Kingler, back then a Krabby, after he got 6 Pokemon in Kanto. Although a certain someone didn’t even train it before his first league. (Ash gave everyone a sheepish smile)

Ash: Oh yeah. Check out my 4^th Pokemon from Kalos. (Sends Goomy out)

Prof. Oak: Wow! A Goomy! That’s amazing, although it’s a weakest Dragon-Type ever.

Ash: Once I help train Goomy up, he’ll be stronger and more helpful to the team! (Goomy nibbles Ash’s ear)

Prof. Oak: So now you have 5 Pokemon, counting Pikachu, Froakie, Fletchinder . . .

Ash: My Froakie evolved into a Frogadier a few days ago. (Sends out Frogadier as he greets hello)

Prof. Oak: So Froakie evolved into a Froagadier! Fascinating! Counting Pikachu, Frogadier, Fletchinder, Hawlucha, and Goomy, you have 5 Pokemon, 4 in Kalos, so far, Ash Ketchum. I was thinking about thatone of your old Pokemon can join you guys fro Christmas instead of the lab this year! (Ash’s old Pokemon are excited) What do you say?

Ash: It is a hard decision, since I do have a lot of Pokemon. I accept it. But which Pokemon do I want to bring here? (Looks at his old Pokemon closely) Hmm. It’s a tough choice, so I pick Buizel! (Ash’s Buizel smirks happily)

Prof. Oak: Okay then. (Walks to get Ash’s Buizel’s Poke Ball before sending him back to his Poke Ball) Ash, I will now transfer your Buizel to the Pokemon Center you’re at right now.

Ash: Thanks, professor. Everyone, I’m sorry we wouldn’t spend Christmas together, but I’ll make it all up to you guys next Christmas. (Professor Oak transfer Buizel’s Poke Ball before Ash receives his Buizel) My Buizel is here, safe and sound.

Prof. Oak: Okay. Have safe, you guys. And Merry Christmas!

Ash: You too, professor.

Delia: Now, make sure you behave yourself and change your underwear, okay?

Ash: (Annoyed) Mom, I'm 16 now. I’m not a little kid anymore.

Delia: Just kidding. Be safe, and Merry Christmas!

Ash: You too, mom. (Hangs up) Buizel, I choose you! (Ash’s Buizel pops out)

Bonnie: Wow! Your Buizel is awesome just like Sherman’s!

Ash: Oh yeah. Buizel, this is Sherman's Buizel. He and his trainer are from the Alola region.

Ash’s Buizel: (Nice to meet you, Buizel.)

Sherman's Buizel: (Nice to meet you as well. I’ve heard about you when our trainers first met.)

Ash’s Buizel: (Yeah, I was strong and pretty cocky at first before I met Ash and his friends, as Dawn even caught me, though I was still cocky. However, I did get along with the other Pokemon Dawn and her friends had during Sinnoh way before I went with Ash as Aipom went with Dawn because of our interest different from our previous trainers.)

Sherman’s Buizel: (Well, I look forward to battling you.)

Ash’s Buizel: (Same here!) *Shakes hands with Sherman's Buizel*

Sherman: Why not have your other Pokemon meet him, Ash.

Ash: Good idea. (Sends out his Hawlucha, Fletchinder, and Goomy as Frogadier comes up to the group) Buizel these are my Pokemon I caught in the Kalos region.

Ash’s Buizel: (Ah! Nice to meet you all!)

Ash’s Hawlucha: (I’m Hawlucha.)

Frogadier: (I’m Frogadier!)

Flethcinder: (Name’s Fletchinder.)

Goomy: (Goomy’s my name. Pleasure to meet you!)

Ash’s Buizel: *Looks at Ash’s Hawlucha, Frogadier, and Sherman’s Buizel* (I’m pretty sure we’re going to be great friends!)

Ash’s Hawlucha: (I know that we will be. You would happen to meet my brother too.)

Ash’s Buizel: (Your brother?)

Sherman’s Buizel: (Yeah! Ash’s Hawlucha has an older twin brother, and he’s with my trainer.)

Ash’s Buizel: (I see.)

Sherman's Buizel: (Hey, Sherman. You should have your other Pokemon come out.)

Sherman: Sure thing. (Sends out his Hawlucha, Grovyle, Sandile, Lucario, and Charmander as Sherman looks at Ash’s Buizel) These are my Pokemon: Lucario, Hawlucha, Ash’s Hawlucha’s older brother who has a bandana, Grovyle, Sandile, and Charmander. (The 5 Pokemon greet hello to Ash’s Buizel)

Charmander: (Now I’m confused to which Buizel is which.)

Sherman's Buizel: (Sighs) (Well, I’m with Sherman since I know how to play video games, not a huge fan of storms, and I’ve been with Sherman for years.)

Ash’s Buizel: (I don’t know how to play video games, and how come you’re scared of storms? You know that you could have an opportunity to use Swift Swim.)

Sherman's Buizel: (You see, when Sherman and I used to live in Alola together with Sherman's mother and Samantha, there was a severe weather slamming Melemele Island. Not only Sherman freaks out, I freak out as well, because of the loud, scary noise and flashing lights that you can see lightning outside, as they can bring damaging winds, hail, and tornadoes. We thought that we’re gonna die, but luckily, we survived.)

Ash’s Buizel: (I see. But you should try to conquer your fear, and so does your trainer.)

Sherman's Buizel: (We can try, but it’s not gonna automatically go away. It takes time to do that.)

Ash’s Buizel: (I understand.)

Sherman's Buizel: (However, I can deal with rain.)

Ash’s Buizel: (Good for you. I look forward to battling you one day.)

Sherman's Buizel: (Yeah, me too.)

Serena: Hey, guys. I’m going to head out and shop for some Christmas gifts! Ash, you want to help too?

Ash: Sure Serena. (Looks at his friends) Are you guys coming too?

Clemont: I’m going to stay and build something for my Pokemon. Maybe later.

Sherman: I’m going to stay and do something special on my laptop.

Samantha: Oh yeah, me too! I’ll do some shopping later after I’m finish up with something on my laptop.

Bonnie: You know, I can stay here and watch all your Pokemon till you guys come back!

Ash: Sounds good, Bonnie!

Serena: Yeah! (Sends out her Fennekin, Pancham, Eevee, and Squirtle) I want you guys to stay here with Bonnie until I get back, okay? (Her Pokemon nod yes)

Clemont: Why don’t you guys come out too! (Sends out his Tyrunt, Squirtle, Luxio, and Chespin)

Samantha: Alright, you guys! Come on out! (Sends out her Amaura, Litleo, Bulbasaur, Vivillon, and Mudkip)

Lara: You too, guys! (Sends out Pearl, Waterfall, and Rose) Oh yeah! Hey, Ash? Is it okay if I can come with you?

Ash: Sorry Lara, but you have to stay here with the others. I’ll bring you back something special, okay?

Lara: Okay.

Ash: Alright you guys. Behave yourselves.

Serena: We’ll be back later!(Ash and Serena left the Pokemon Center) (Thinking) You know, it’s just Ash and I alone together. It feels like we’re on a date. (Tries to grab Ash’s hand, but fails)

(At the Pokemon center/Pokemon POV)

Pearl: You know, this would be a great Christmas. I even get to spend it with my cousins!

Ash’s Hawlucha: Yeah. We’re happy to spend time with you too, Pearl!

Grovyle: You know this will be the first Christmas you guys had together without your caretaker guy. On the plus side, you guys can get to spend time with us, aka our new family!

Ash’s Hawlucha: Yeah. I somehow miss Keaton.

Sherman's Hawlucha: Me too. But we did a bet from the first day our trainers met us, and we decide to go with them.

Pikachu: Don’t forget that Carl was going to let you guys join him, but you two turned down.

Sherman's Hawlucha/Ash’s Hawlucha: We know that.

Lucario: Hey, guys. Can I ask you something?

Sherman's Buizel: Yeah, what is it?

Lucario: What’s Christmas?

Ash’s Buizel: You don’t know what Christmas is?

Lucario: I’ve never heard it before.

Sherman: (Walks up to Lucario) Well, Lucario. (Sits with him) Christmas is something we spend with our family, giving out presents to your loved ones.

Sherman's Buizel: Yeah. We have dinner together, have a Christmas tree up there. (Points to the Christmas tree in the Pokemon Center) Watch Christmas specials, like Frosty, Grinch, Rudolph, and all other Christmas shows and specials.

Sherman: Right. I don’t know if our family, minus Ash’s since there is a blizzard in Pallet Town, might come.

Lucario: Oh.. Do you think I can see a Christmas special?

Buizel: Well . . .

Nurse Joy: There’s a Christmas Special of Frosty on TV right if you guys want to watch it!

Bonnie: Yay! Frosty the Snowman! (Dedenne cheers)

Lara: Frosty the Snowman?

Bonnie: It’s one of the great Christmas cartoons ever! You should watch it!

Lara: Well, okay. (Follows Bonnie and Dedenne to watch Frosty)

Sherman: I’ll take care of the present for you guys. (Brings up his laptop and does something on his laptop)

Sherman's Buizel: Okay, Sherman! (Then most of the Ash and co.’s Pokemon head to watch Frosty the Snowman on TV)

(Later, Ash and Serena are on the other side of Coumarine City, shopping for gifts to give to their friends and Pokemon)

Serena: (Finds an invention shop) Wow! Clemont would love this place!

Ash: (Sees a Large-Sized Meowth plush) Hey, Serena! Check this out! Do you think everyone would love it?

Serena: I have no clue, Ash. Besides, that looks like a Meowth.

Ash: I know, Serena.

Serena: (Looks at a clothing shop and found something interesting) Wow! Sam would love this! And I should get some for my Pokemon too! We should shop here for a minute! (Runs inside a shop)

Ash: Serena, wait! (Runs inside)

(Later, Ash and Serena (With a lot of bags) got out of the clothing shop)

Serena: Guess that’s all the stuff we got here. We should check out all the other shops!

Ash: Yeah. I’m going to that shop over there. (Points to where he wants to shop) I’ll be right back. (Walks up to the store)

Serena: Oh, okay. I’ll wait for you. (Sits down as she looks at the stuff she bought, without letting the viewer know what she bought) I’m sure everyone would love these, especially Lara! I bet they’ll all be so happy! (Head to the invention shop to get a present from Clemont as she checks them out) I’m sure Clemont will love this! He’ll be so amazed! (Picks the invention up as she walks up to the cash register before she pays for it. Then she leaves the store with bags)

Ash: (Carrying the bags) Hey there, Serena!

Serena: Oh! Hey, Ash. What did you get for them?

Ash: Can’t tell you. It’s a secret! (Sees Serena with a lot of bags) Hey, do you want me to help you with the bags?

Serena: It’s okay, Ash. I can carry them myself, but thanks for asking!

Ash: So, where do we go next?

Serena: Not sure. If we find a place that the others find interesting, we can go there.

Ash: Okay! (Ash and Serena head off together)

(Later at the Pokemon Center)

Clemont: (Finishes his invention) There! I’m sure my Pokemon would love it!

Samantha: (Walks by) Nice, Clemont! Bet they’ll love it, unless id it doesn’t self-destruct.

Clemont: No worries, Sam! This will be one invention that will not self-destruct!

Samantha: We’ll see.

Clemont: By the way, you plan on going to do some shopping later?

Samantha: Of course! I will, Clemont! Since you’re done with the invention, you plan on shopping for other gifts, right?

Clemont: Absolutely. I’m sure they’ll be surprised from what I bought, especially my sister and Lara.

Bonnie: (Sees the Special finished) That one was great! What do you think, Lara?

Lara: I think it was the greatest Christmas Special I ever saw!

Bonnie: Yeah, me too! Frosty’s my favorite character!

Lara: Me too! Most of the characters on it are really likable, except that man who . . .

Bonnie: Lara, don’t say it.

Lara: Why?

Bonnie: Well, you were about to spoil the ending of what that man did. Anyone who hasn’t watch Frosty yet, they should look it up for themselves without us telling the entire story about it.

Lara: Oh, I understand. No spoiling! (Chuckles, along with Bonnie and Dedenne)

Bonnie: Also they made another Frosty Special!

Bonnie: (Looks at Sherman) Hey, Sherman! Where’s Clemont and Sam?

Sherman: They’re shopping for gifts right now/

Bonnie: Isn’t Ash and Serena doing it?

Sherman’s Buizel: You know, we should so something for our trainers too!

Pearl: I kinda like , um, (points to Sherman's Buizel) that Buizel’s idea. We should do something for our trainers as well!

Rose: Yeah! Maybe we can go shopping!

Bulbasaur: And who’s going to look after us while shopping?

Luxio: Yeah. We can’t go by ourselves? What if there’s Team Rocket or some bad guys there!

Rose: Don’t worry! We’ll be fine.

Pikachu: (Sighs) If you’re going, I’m going too!

Sherman’s Buizel: Yeah, me too!

Sherman's Buizel: She’s right! It’s Christmas! We should all be light-hearted to each other, (Looks at Sandile and Sherman's Hawlucha) Even if we hate each other.

Pearl: Yeah, but I just don’t like seeing Pancham and Chespin fighting for my love, and I’m just tired of it.

Rose: Anyways, who wants to go with me? (Pikachu, Sherman’s Buizel, Ash’s Buizel, Pearl, Waterfall, Charmander, Vivillon, Amaura, Litleo, Fennekin, and Squirtle) Okay then.

Sherman's Buizel: I’ll notify Sherman. (Walks up to Sherman) Hey, Sherman?

Sherman: What is it, Buizel?

Sherman's Buizel: Rose was thinking about going shopping, and the other Pokemon are planning to do that to in order to buy the others gifts,, especially for their trainers. I was thinking if I can be their chaperone.

Pikachu: Yeah, me too! I’ll look after them too!

Sherman: Yeah. (Takes out his money and gives some to his Pokemon) When you guys are shopping for gifts, use them wisely., and make sure you guys stay together, okay?

Sherman's Buizel: We will, Sherman.

Sherman: Make sure you guys stay out of trouble, okay?

Sherman's Buizel: Alright! (He, Ash’s Buizel, Rose, Waterfall, Pikachu, Pearl, Charmander, Vivillon, Amaura, Litleo, Fennekin, and Squirtle left the Pokemon Center)

Nurse Joy: (Walks up) Hey, guys. There are supplies of pencils and paper, including the other stuff vailiable for you guys to do.

Lucario: That’s great!

Grovyle: Well, we should do that!

Lucario: Agreed!

Chespin: Ditto!

Lucario: Anyone else joining?

Dedenne: Bonnie, Lara, and I are watching the 2^nd Frosty Special. We’ll do it later!

Bonnie: Yeah, what Dedenne said, but I’ll do it..

Ash’s Buizel: So, how did you and your trainer met?

Buizel: It was 8 years ago in Alola when I was fighting that Tentacruel, as it poisoned me and threw me to the ocean,. Then Sherman rushed by and helped me get to the Pokemon Center. If it wasn’t for Sherman, I wouldn’t be here today. Later that night, I went into his room in his house by an open window and we slept together on the bed. The next day, Sherman's mother and Nurse Joy told Sherman he can keep me, and we've been friends ever since.

Ash’s Buizel: That’s nice! You two are like long time friends, just like Ash and Pikachu!

Sherman's Buizel: Yeah, we are!

Pikachu: It’s really true!

Sherman's Buizel: Yeah, Ash told us about you and his past together!

Pikachu: Heh. Yeah! We had a rocky start, but we grew closer after I chose to save Ash from the flock of Spearows on the first day, despite me making fun of Ash.

Ash’s Buizel: Wow! Never expected to hear you not obeying your trainer!

Pikachu: Same goes to you ever since we met.

Pearl: (Looks at a clothing shop) Well, here we are!

Rose: Yeah, let’s go in there!

Fennekin/Squirtle/Waterfall: Agreed! (Rose, Pearl, Waterfall, Vivillon, Amaura, Litleo, Fennekin, and Squirtle head inside)

Charmander: Well, we should go in too. Just to make sure we find some stuff for our trainers.

Sherman's Buizel: Yeah, that’s what we’re planning to do.
